1. Agreement to Terms
By booking, scheduling, or using any service from Lightning Deliveries LLC ("Lightning Deliveries", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Lightning Deliveries provides same-day rush delivery, scheduled route delivery, medical and legal courier services, and last-mile business delivery throughout Metro Detroit, Michigan.
3. Bookings & Quotes
Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if pickup details, destination, weight, dimensions, wait times, or service level differ from the original quote.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, contact info, and any access instructions.
- Ensure items are properly packaged and legally transportable.
- Be available (or designate someone) at the agreed pickup and delivery windows.
5. Prohibited Items
We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms, live animals, perishable items requiring temperature control beyond our capability, or any item prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
6. Liability & Carriage
Our liability for loss or damage is governed by our Contract of Carriage, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior credit terms have been agreed to in writing. Late payments may incur fees.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations made before a driver is dispatched are free. Cancellations after dispatch may incur a fee equal to the trip already underway.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
